It’s curtains once again for the X Factor actor and his longtime wife, who first called it quits in 2008, amid reports of Duchovny’s infidelity. David entered rehab for sex addiction — ironically, the same afflication that plagues his character on Showtime’s Californication — and he and Tea reconciled later that year.
At the same time, Duchovny insisted the brief separation was the “best thing” that could have happened for the relationship.
So could another reunion be in the works?
A rep for the pair tells Entertainment Tonight that David and Tea have once again put the kibosh on their on-again/off-again love affair. Insiders, however, say The Duchovnys are still deciding whether or not they will proceed with a divorce.
Duchovny and Leoni married in 1997 and have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 12, and son Kyd, 9.
