Mariah Carey Welcomes Twins With Hubby Nick Cannon

Just in case you haven’t heard, The Carey-Cannon Buns have come out of the oven. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary Saturday (Has it been that long already?!) by becoming parents to a baby girl and boy today. The stiletto-lovin’ songbird a new mom just in time for Mothers’ Day.

Guess that means we’ve seen our last topless “Nick and Mariah Posin’ Nude with Belly Bump” magazine cover?

Carey, 41, delivered the healthy tots at 12:07 PM EDT at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, the star’s longtime rep, Cindi Berger, told The Associated Press. Nick and Mariah’s baby girl was reportedly born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long; while her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.

Berger said the couple was calm while en route to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom, as they believed Mariah’s labor pains were a false alarm. But the contractions proved to be the real deal, Nick, 30, was reportedly so nervous he had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse after he went to the wrong department.

So much for keeping your cool!

“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting. When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and they nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, ‘that’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed,’” Berger told The AP.

Berger added that the new parents fittingly played Carey’s hit song “We Belong Together” shortly after the twins’ arrival.

Prince William and Princess Catherine’s captivating Royal Wedding were released by St. James Palace as the newlyweds boarded a plane and embarked on their top secret honeymoon on Saturday.

The marriage of the second in line to the British throne was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and was attended by 1900 guests, including foreign Royal family members and heads of state. Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have also flocked to London to witness the spectacle and pageantry of the Royal Wedding.

The wedding pictures show a happy couple — now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — surrounded by their family on their big day, taken in The Throne Room of Buckingham Palace immediately after the bride and groom’s union at nearby Westminster Abbey. One snaps shows just Wills and Kate. A second features the pair with their bridesmaids and pageboys. The final image adds the proud parents – Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and Michael and Carole Middleton; also featured are Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip, best man Prince Harry, Pippa, Kate’s kid sister and her maid of honor, and James Middleton, their brother.

The Royal Wedding pictures were taken by Hugo Burnand. The Royal Family took the wedding photographs when Charles and Camilla married in 2005. He also snapped pics of Charles when the Prince of Wales turned 60 three years ago.

Sanjay Dutt's Role in 'Pri and Me' More Than a Cameo

Sanjay Dutt's role in Pri and Me, headlining Adah Sharma and debutant Dev Goel, is more than a cameo, a source tells Sawfnews.com exclusively.

Dutt plays a full-on character role as a police inspector. He has been shooting with the film's unit at Mehboob studio in Bandra for the past five days and will likely take another ten days to complete his part of the shoot.

As reported earlier, Sanjay has put his home production Rascals on hold to shoot for Pri And Me, as a favor to Jyotin.

Sanjay and Jyotin go way back a long way having worked together in films like Inaam Dus Hazaar (1987), Zahreeley (1990) and Safari (1999).

When Jyotin requested Sanjay to be a part of his film, Sanjay immediately agreed and gave his dates. Sanjay recalls how Jyotin had stood by him during his life's dark hours; Jyotin made Safari with Sanjay when the star faced serious charges under anti-terrorism laws for illegal possession of arms.

Pri and Me additionally stars talent powerhouses Anupam Kher and Juhi Chawla.

The film is a romantic comedy about two best friends. Adah plays 'Pri' short for Priyanka in the film.

Priyanka Chopra flaunted her superbly toned body with edgy style, wearing a Deux A fitted patterned white tunic and black jeggings, at MTV's Youth Marketing Forum at the Comedy Store at Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel, Mumbai Friday, April 29.

Priyanka launched the book - The Age of Sinnocence and Cinema - at the event and spoke about the evolution of Indian Cinema and how it had shaped the youth culture of the country over the years.

The 28-year-old former Miss World (2000) wore a cut out sleeve tunic with jeans that had bold seam detailing.

In a welcome change from the norm, her hair was styled with a middle parting and loose bottom waves.

While everyone has been focusing on Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone, its Priyanka Chopra who is getting hotter by the day, we think!

Talking at the forum, Ms Chopra said she is not comfortable with nudity, but she would willingly go for a lesbian kiss.

"Nudity is something that I wouldn't be comfortable with. Even if I play the most complex and weird parts which are raunchy or whatever it has to be, the portrayal of a character is to a point where it is aesthetically done. It has to be something that I won't be averse to showing my parents. I have to be able to sit with them and watch it."

Double Dhamaal Team Goes Amok with Sanjay Dutt's Segway

Sanjay Dutt's Segway PT was a source of thrills on the set of Indra Kumar's comedy Double Dhamaal, headlining Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat.

The Segway PT, a US product, is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle. The name "Segway" is a homophone of "segue" (a smooth transition, literally Italian for "follows") while "PT" denotes personal transporter.

The gadget lover that he is, Sanjay Dutt had recently purchased a Segway that he always keeps in his vanity van. It was just a matter of time before Sanjay's boisterous co-stars in the film - Arshad, Riteish, Ashish and Jaaved – stumbled on Dutt's secret. When they did, the Segway became anyone's and everyone's property. Even the director and crew members wanted to try it.

Soon, everyone had perfected the art of riding it. Indra Kumar even performed some of his directorial duties mounted on it.

Segway PT, a common site on US airports and corporate buildings, was made popular by Kevin James in his 2009 crime comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop in which he is a mall security guard who makes his rounds riding a Segway PT.

Double Dhamaal is a sequel to 2007 comedy Dhamaal. The film is due in theaters on June 10.

Lindsay Lohan Will Plead No Contest to Misdemeanor Theft

Lindsay Lohan intends to come good on a statement that she made on Jay Leno earlier this week that she is a big girl who is ready to take responsibility for her actions.

Lindsay, who has already been sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 days of community service for violating the terms of her probation in a 2007 DUI case, will plead no contest to a misdemeanor theft charge for stealing a necklace.

Lindsay's trial for theft is scheduled to start May 11, but according to TMZ, she and her lawyer Shawn Holley will enter the no contest plea next week.

Sources tell TMZ, that Lindsay's legal team is hoping Lindsay's plea will not entail additional jail time for her, as is typical in such cases.

Lindsay has said that she will appeal against the 120 day jail sentence for DUI violation, but legal experts believe that will only buy her time; eventually the sentence will be upheld.

When that happens, Lindsay will probably stay in jail for three weeks, LA. County Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore tells TMZ.

Katrina Kaif Miffed by Prakash Jha's Praise of Deepika Padukone

"Yesterday, last day of dub with @deepikapadukone She finished dubbing in record time! #only4days #aarakshan," he tweeted.

Now, the time taken to dub for a role would depends on factors such as the length of the role, the depth of emotions to be portrayed, the extent of preparation by the actor, etc. So, what exactly did Jha mean by record time? How many days should she have taken, or would another star have taken?

Some of Jha's Twitter fans wondered whether there was more to his tweet than was immediately evident.

Deepika Padukone Will Essay 17th Century Glamor in Rana

Deepika Padukone , 25, will portray 17th century glamor in her trilingual - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi – film Rana with co-star Rajnikanth.

She shot her first scene for the film Friday, April 29 in Chennai, a solo dance sequence scored by AR Rahman.

"It'll be a period look, as the film is set in the 17th century, my look and hair will be done in a very different way. Costume designer Neeta Lulla, who has handled films like Devdas, has worked hard on my look and come out with brilliant results. It's a 17th century look with a south Indian touch," Deepika told TOI.

Deepika's 60-year-old co-star Rajnikanth fell sick on day one of shoot and had to be rushed to the hospital. He has been advised complete rest for a few days.

According to director K. S. Ravikumar, Rajnikanth is anyways needed much later in the schedule; his role will be shot in London.

No Honeymoon For TRH William and Catherine Middleton

TRH William and Catherine Middleton, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will not immediately go on a honeymoon, but will instead spend the weekend privately in the UK.

On Saturday, April 30, the couple was seen boarding a helicopter, attired in casuals.

Starting next week, the Duke will return to RAF Valley on Anglesey to resume duties as Search and Rescue pilot.

Later, the couple will embark on a honeymoon abroad.

Neither the location of their private weekend, nor their honeymoon is being revealed and the couple have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon.

Nine Years

Ok quick post.

I arrived Oman safely on the 28th, which I was overjoyed to see my best friend greeting me at the airport. Seeing her for the first time after nine years was such an emotional moment.

I practically screamed and threw myself at her tiny frame.

The story between us started in college. She was the first girl I spotted on my first day of class, in the first row. I didn't know what prompted me to sit next to this Middle Eastern student and asked her name; but I did, and we never stopped talking since.

She was always the only Middle Eastern among a group of Chinese when we hang out together; or I the only Chinese in a group of Middle Eastern; but we were always seen together, worked on projects together, talked in class together, get good grades together, the teacher's pets together.

Then a year later, I moved to the UK to pursue the rest of my degree while she stayed on; by the time I got back a year later, she'd just left Malaysia and returned to Oman. We've always agreed to meet up, but over the years, it just never happened. Life got in the way, careers, movements, money; and we knew that we were each making a life and a living in our own respective countries. We were fresh graduate with no money, travelling across the continents was never cheap. Before we knew it, nine years flew past, and one day, I received a phone call from her. She announced she's getting married, next thing I knew, I have booked a flight to Oman. :)

Over the past few days, we've slept in the same room and talked and talked and talked, about us, about life, about guys, about our past, about college times, about our future, about everything; well mostly with me interrogating her current life affair, her wedding 'plans' (eh-hem), her fiancée; before she ground me down with my own love affair. Oh the horror.

And it felt like nothing has changed. The nine years between us was never there. And it felt just like yesterday we were us, together, walking and talking and being friends. It's bizarre, and I've never felt anything quite like it before in my life, not with anyone, or not with anyone whom I've not seen for such a long time.

I went out with another friend today, the bubbliest most modern Arabic lady you can ever meet. She speaks fluent English, in fact, her whole family speaks English, and I'm surprised at how we manage to just catch up, after years of never meeting, just like that. We caught on, fast, furious, yes she's loud too, and I love her squeal, her height; her existence made me feel in place: despite the fact that she's the only Arabic I know who is my height. LOL.

Yes Rahma I'm talking about you.

And again, it was the same feeling. The same familiarity, the same closeness. Everything felt like yesterday, no one seemed to have aged; well I hope I can say the same thing again for the next nine years; who needs botox?! Hah!

I've met a lot of wonderful people here in Oman, people think Arab women are conservative, ha, if only you could see them behind the curtains. Sex, men, party, fun; we spread it all out under the sky (or ceiling in this matter).

I've been asked to dress as revealing as possible on the Henna's night (celebrated a day before the actually wedding ceremony, but only ladies, like a hen's night, gala style), and I only brought two humble dresses to wear. -.- Great.
