Rajshri Productions released the first look of Love U... Mr. Kalakaar headlining Amrita Rao and Tusshar Kapoor.
The film directed by debutant S Manasvi's additionally stars Ram Kapoor, Madhoo, Prem Chopra, Jai Kalra and Kiran Kumar. This is the first time Amrita, 29, and Tusshar, 34, will be seen together. Manasvi filmed a scene in film – where Ritu (Amrita), a fresh management graduate, meets Sahil (Tusshar), a cartoonist, at his home - at the first real life meeting of the two stars! "There is always a certain hesitancy and awkwardness between a guy and a girl when she visits his house for the first time. So I decided to shoot this scene the first day because I knew Tusshar and Amrita had never worked together. I didn't want any chemistry between them that would have come once they started working together. And sure enough the emotions came out beautifully," Manasvi told Indian Express. Other attractions of the film include a cameo by Salman Khan, and Roza girl Madhoo's return after a 9 year hiatus. Filming was done mostly in the hills of Ooty and Mumbai. Film's music has been scored by Sandesh Shandilya. Costumes of all characters in the film have been designed by young and happening Mumbai based designer Nishka Lulla.
