Bieber phoned into Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM Morning Show on Monday, January 31 to plug his upcoming 3D concert film 'Never Say Never.'
Seacrest deftly prompted him to speak about his relationship with Gomez by asking, "Because this is your home and you can say it however you want: What do I say to fans of yours that saw video of you and Selena Gomez [at the movies] last week?"
"Just tell them that she's like one of my best friends," Bieber replied.
Justin Bieber, 16, and Selena Gomez, 18, were spotted on a movie date in Burbank Thursday night, January 27.
The teen heartthrobs watched 'No Strings Attached,' an R-rated film headlining Natali Portman and Ashton Kutcher.
Seacrest, either didn't know the name of the film they watched, or just played coy to say his lines.
"What movie did you see?" he asked.
"We saw No Strings Attached," Bieber said.
"That's all I need right there!" Seacrest joked. "That is it, buddy!"
