 Eeeps, some changes have been going on in the celebrity hair world and all of em haven’t been great.
From fashion to everything else one can think of, celebrities get compared to one another every day. Some might say what fun would it be if people couldn’t criticize, pick at, gossip about and at the end of the day just plain envy the lifestyles and in some cases hairstyles of America’s hottest young superstars. In ring one, we’ve got the number 1 hit making, style stating diva extraordinaire Rihanna and in ring two: the talented, attention getting sexy Cassie. When it comes to music, they’re definitely in two categories of their own (go Rihanna, woo woo) but when it comes to fashion and hair, both have recently made some interesting headway in the ‘beauty’ industry and despite their physical differences, the comparison comes with it being a somewhat 'similar' hairstyle idea. The question is - Who does the shaved head look suit more?

 | | Let’s reflect on the past a bit: Both ladies are gorgeous; that’s not a surprise but Rihanna has historically been known to re-create her look more often with a change of hair length, hair style and hair color and always adds funk to her wardrobe with every outing. |

 | | Cassie’s long hair has always looked healthy, shiny, flowing; really who wouldn’t want hair like hers? When it’s dark it’s gorgeous, when it’s lighter it’s exotic; sometimes it’s worn completely straight and other times with decent curls. |

 | | Rihanna has gone from long to short, to very very short; from ultra straight to uber curly; she’s had her hair pulled back and rocked short bangs the next. In my opinion, she definitely serves as a hairstyle inspiration for those really hesitant to trying something new. Then again maybe one wouldn’t be so scared about those changes if they had her hairstylist with them 24/7. |

 | | Cassie, has remained traditional to her long dark locks. So she cut the length a tad and may have lightened it up some at times, at the end of the day, no drastic changes were made and this made her...cute, loveable, adorable, but definitely not the badass Rihanna is but SUDDENLY... |

I understand change (Beyonce) I understand break downs (Brittany) I understand publicity stunts (Kim Kardashians err…gothic look) – I even understand the attitude of ‘I love it and I’m gonna do it so forget you all!!!’ Or perhaps better suited to that sentence F*** you all (Pink) but this new Cassie look just does not pull off any of those reasons. Clearly she just thought it would look good and now has to walk around with one very cold half scalp. Thank God she did this in summer. Maybe she should have gone to see Rihannas hair stylist? |

 | | Rihanna on the other hand is pure funk from head to toe. I am convinced this girl can rock nearly any hairstyle. She never looks to me like she is trying too hard - she just does something new and its hardcore and it works. Maybe its her hair length that makes a difference; maybe its the attitude that goes along with the hair but Cassie still has this pretty girl look that can not pull off something this drastic as smoothly. Let me take one last look from a different angle. |
